CLARIFICATION TEXT ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
I. INTRODUCTION
MT DISPLAYS LLC (hereinafter referred to as “MT” or the “Company”) places great importance on processing and safeguarding all types of personal data belonging to its customers, employees, and other individuals and entities with whom it interacts, in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law (“PDPL”).
To fulfill its obligation to inform data subjects during the collection of personal data, the Company provides details regarding its identity, the purposes for which personal data will be processed, the recipients and purposes of data transfers, the methods and legal grounds for collecting personal data, and the rights of data subjects. This document serves to inform personal data owners about their rights and the Company’s data protection practices.
II. PERSONAL DATA
1. Definition of Personal Data
Within the framework of the PDPL, ‘personal data’ refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. In this context, personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. In this context, anonymous information, anonymised information and other data that cannot be associated with a specific person are not accepted as personal data in accordance with our Company’s Policy on this subject.
2. The Concept of Processing Personal Data
Within the framework of the PDPL, the processing of personal data refers to all kinds of operations performed on personal data, such as obtaining, recording, storing, retaining, modifying, reorganising, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making available, classifying or preventing the use of personal data by fully or partially automated or non-automated means, provided that it is part of any data recording system.
III. SCOPE OF CLARIFICATION

2. Collection, Processing and Processing Purposes of Personal Data
Your Personal Data, although it may vary depending on the service, product or commercial activity provided by our Company; It is / may be collected verbally, in writing, visually or electronically by automatic or non-automatic methods. Within the scope of the PDPL, personal data that you make public and for the purpose of fulfilling our legal obligations, establishing or performing a contract, fulfilling our legal obligations, establishing, exercising or protecting a right and protecting our legitimate interests without harming your fundamental rights and freedoms can be processed without your explicit consent. Your personal data may also be processed for the purposes specified in this Clarification Text, provided that your explicit consent is obtained within the scope of the PDPL.
3. To whom and for what purpose the processed personal data can be transferred domestically and/or abroad
Your personal data collected; Our business units carry out the necessary work to benefit you from the products and services offered by our company, to the administrative and official authorities that are legally required to be transferred, to the relevant persons and institutions for the fulfilment of the legal obligation required by the legislation, to independent audit companies, tax consultants and other external professional consultants, lawyers, insurance companies, partners, domestic and foreign third parties from which services are or will be received, our shareholders, business partners, suppliers, legally authorised public institutions and private persons due to legal obligations and within the framework of legal limitations of the PDPL and within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in the PDPL and within the scope of other legal legislation.
Your personal data collected are/may be transferred to foreign countries declared to have adequate protection by the PDP Board (‘Foreign Country with Adequate Protection’) or, in the absence of adequate protection, to foreign countries where the data controllers in Turkey and the relevant foreign country undertake adequate protection in writing and where the PDP Board has authorisation (‘Foreign Country Where the Data Controller Undertakes Adequate Protection’). In this direction, our Company acts/will act in accordance with the regulations stipulated in the PDPL and other legal legislation.
4. Method and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data are obtained for the purposes of transmitting electronic (SMS, E-Mail, etc.) messages that will inform you, by automatic or non-automatic methods and through other channels through which our Company communicates with you or may communicate with you in the future, to carry out our activities, to fulfil our contractual and legal obligations between you and us, and the personal data obtained are stored within the legal periods in accordance with the relevant Legislation.
5. Rights of the Personal Data Owner listed in the PDPL
As personal data owners, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to our Company by the methods set out below in this Clarification Text, our Company will finalise the request free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if a fee is stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Board, the fee in the tariff determined by our Company will be charged. In this context, personal data owners, in accordance with PDPL; To learn whether their Personal Data is processed or not, to request information if it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing their Personal Data and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose, to know the third parties to whom their personal data is transferred domestically or abroad, to request correction of their personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing, to request the deletion or destruction of their personal data in case the reasons requiring the processing of their personal data disappear, to be evaluated within the principles of purpose, duration and legitimacy, In the event that their Personal Data is corrected, deleted or destroyed, they have the right to request that these transactions be notified to third parties to whom personal data is transferred, to object to this result in the event that a result arises against them in the event that their processed personal data is analysed exclusively through automated systems, to request the compensation of the damage in case their Personal Data is processed unlawfully and they suffer damage for this reason. Pursuant to paragraph of the PDPL, you can submit your request to our Company in writing or by other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
